Rocky Mount, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan men's tennis team delivered a dominant performance on April 10, sweeping Pfeiffer University 7-0 at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center.
The Bishops controlled the match from the outset, sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the early point. Adam Singleton and Albert Sitwell led the way with a 6-0 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Ben Russell and Farhaan Patrawala followed with another 6-0 win at No. 2. Brody Brice and Indrek Raudkivi completed the doubles sweep with a 6-1 decision at No. 3.
NC Wesleyan carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets. Adam Singleton set the tone at No. 1 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 victory, and Albert Sitwell followed with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 2. Ben Russell added a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 3, while Farhaan Patrawala secured a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 4.
Martin Cardestig continued the sweep with a 6-1, 6-0 performance at No. 5, and Indrek Raudkivi closed out the match with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 6.
With the win, NC Wesleyan showcased its depth and dominance across the lineup, controlling every court to secure the 7-0 team victory and continue building momentum late in the season.
