Vernon. T. Bradley Jr. Stadium
The N.C. Wesleyan Football program plays all of its home games on campus at Vernon T. Bradley Jr. Stadium. With state-of-the-art field turf installed in 2022 with the help of a $1 million dollar donation from Vernon T. Bradley Jr., the future is bright for Battling Bishop's football. Currently, NCWU has plans on building a first class stadium, press box, and field house for the football program to have a central location for locker rooms, meeting rooms, coach's offices, and a weight room.
In 2023, First Carolina Bank made a signficant donation to the stadium campaign by donating 25,000 to the project, and is excited for what is to come for Wesleyan Football.
Want a football experience you can't find anywhere else in DIII? The Bishop Backyard is the place for you! By donating $1,200, you can have a front row park behind the end zone, enjoy a free meal grilled by the athletic department, receive 10 season passes, and your very own car magnet. Don't forget your tasty George's BBQ sauce pack as well! Parking
Parking is available in the gravel lot behind the softball field, or paves lot to the left of Everett Gym for $10. Cash or card will be accepted by our parking attendants. Free parking is available everywhere else on campus, and a shuttling service is provided to the stadium.
Tickets:
Tickets are only available at the gate, and no tickets will be sold in advance. The cost of admission is $10, and cash and card is accepted. All children 12 and under are admitted for free into Vernon T. Bradley Jr. Stadium. Furthermore all NCWU students and faculty have free admission into football games.
Seating and Concessions/Bathrooms
Bleacher seating is available behind the N.C. Wesleyan sideline, as well as lawn chair seating along the perimeter of the field. Fans are encouraged to fill the bleacher seating up first. Concessions and bathrooms will be available for all fans behind the bleachers. NCWU serves an assortment of candy, popcorn, Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and much more.
