Anyone making a donation to any NCWU athletic program becomes a member of the Battling Bishops Club.
Battling Bishops Club Giving
Contributions to the Battling Bishops Club (BBC) may be used immediately, making a direct impact on NCWU student-athletes and their experiences. BBC donors can choose to contribute to the unrestricted fund or to designate their gift to a specific sports team. Unrestricted contributions to the Battling Bishop Club are the most important because they are used by the athletic administration to address the highest priority and most immediate needs of the overall athletic program, which can change from year-to-year. Donations designated for a specific sports team are only used by that sport and are managed at the discretion of the coaching staff in consultation with the athletic administration.

Current Projects
Please consider a gift to any of the following projects
#LightTheEdge Campaign
Named in honor of the first ever head softball and women's basketball coach in Wesleyan history Jean Edge, Edge Field has been a staple on Wesleyan's campus for many years. Witnessing countless victories and several conference championships, we need your help lighting one of the most historic facilities on campus. With a goal of $225,000, you can play a vital role in installing lights at Edge Field, which will allow for night games and practices for the program. It will also benefit the University academically. In the past, athletes have had to miss afternoon classes to travel and practice prior to sundown.
Vernon T. Bradley, Jr. Stadium Campaign

Continuing the largest athletic fundraising campaign in Wesleyan Athletics history, the next phase in the Vernon T. Bradley, Jr. Stadium project will include the construction of a new press box, stadium seating, and field house. While the initiative will support all NCWU athletes, the new field house will house Wesleyan's football and lacrosse teams, and will contain a training room, weight room, classrooms, meeting space and offices.
With a goal of 3 million dollars, the project will allow for a first class press box which will accommodate all game day staff, media and equipment and give a fresh, first-class view of the stadium to fans. The University is planning future fundraising events for those who have a love for the game of football and Wesleyan. These exclusive events will unfold the vision of the new stadium, give participants first access to the future of North Carolina Wesleyan University and invite them to be a philanthropic part of this project.
