Biography

A Graduate Student thrower from Rocky Mount High School, Desmond Barnes is a member of the NCWU President's List and was selected to the USA South All-Academic Team in 2023-24.

Capturing the USA South Conference Championship in shot-put a year ago, Barnes is also an offensive linemen on the football team where he has been named first-team all-conference the past two seasons.
