Kamiyah Wooten enters her Sophomore year with the Battling Bishop's cross country program, hailing from Farmville, NC. Putting together the best rookie campaign in school history, Wooten competed in both the Indoor and Outdoor NCAA DIII Championships. Finishing third in the indoor 200-meter dash, she compiled the best finish in school history and earned multiple All-American accolades. 

The 2023-2024 NCWU Female Athlete of the Year's favorite athlete is Shacarri Richardson and her favorite movie is "New Addition Story." In her free time, Kamiyah enjoys listening to music and her favorite song is "The Truth" by India Irie.
