Isaiah Jones enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Battling Bishop's women's basketball program. A standout player at Averett University, Jones was the school's inaugural Dr. Tommy Foster Male Athlete of the Year while earning first-team USA South honors in men's basketball for the 2019-2020 season. In the same year, the Cougars went on to clinch the USA South Regular Season Championship.

A Dean's List member seven out of eight semesters, Jones is still a member of the National Achievers Society for Life.
