Kayla Molivas enters her first season as assistant coach at North Carolina Wesleyan softball program.

After graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from North Carolina Wesleyan, Molivas returned home to Stedman, NC where she taught at Mac Williams Middle School and was the head softball coach there for 4 years, while also being an assistant coach at Methodist University.

Molivas attended Cape Fear High School and was apart of 3 state championship games during her time there. During her time at NC Wesleyan, Molivas was a 4-year starter for the Bishops.  She was also a part of the 2019 East Division 20-win Championship team and helped the 2021 team achieve 20 wins and advance all the way to the conference tournament title game.

Molivas was named to all conference teams multiple years as a catcher and as a third baseman.

Molivas is excited to return to her alma mater and work with the Battling Bishops this season.
