Wiiala's Pair of Goals Lift Bishops to 2-0 Victory at Guilford

Box Score

Greensboro, N.C. - Senior Sebastian Wiiala netted a goal in each half to lift his Battling Bishop men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory at Guilford College on Wednesday. The win is Wesleyan's second straight.

Wiiala's pair of scores came just 10 minutes apart... one on each side of the break. His first goal came in the 40th minute when he took a cross from junior Daniel Kamdem for a 10-yard shot, while the second occured less that four minutes into the second half off an Olafur Einarsson assist.

Sophomore keeper Jesper Olsson did the rest in goal, securing the shutout with a trio of saves on 12 Quaker shots.

Wesleyan (3-4-1) returns to USA South action on Friday when the Bishops travel to Averett University for a 6:30pm tilt with the Cougars.
