Women's Soccer Ends Season with Loss to Mary Baldwin

Staunton, VA - Falling 2-1 on the road to the Squirrels of Mary Baldwin on Saturday, women's soccer ended its season in heartbreaking fashion. A goal in the first half by Samantha Dell (6th) in the first half gave the Bishops a break headed into the break, MBU would get to goals to end the contest and take the Senior Day victory. While the season had its ups and downs for the women's soccer program, there are many positives that the Bishops can carry into next season.

The team's leading goal scorer, midfielder Samantha Dell will return to the squad next year coming off a record breaking year with eight goals scored and nineteen points on 63 shots. The program will also be returning a lot of young, vibrant talent which looks to have a strong offseason and 2024 campaign.

The N.C. Wesleyan Athletic Department and the women's soccer program will like to thank everyone for supporting the team this season and can't wait to see you at Scalf Field in 2024.
