Wilson, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan men's soccer program fell on the road to Barton 4-2 in a heartbreaker on Wednesday night. Taking a 2-0 lead in the break, the Bishops scored on the only two shot attempts of the game. While capitalizing on the opportunities given in midfield, Wesleyan moved the ball well in the first half and found open holes in the Bulldog defense. The Battling Bishops would also play a pair of goalies on Wednesday who would combine for a total of six saves.
Game Notes:
- Tiago Feler would score his fourth goal of the season in the 22nd minute to give the Battling Bishops a 1-0 lead.
- Orri Bjornsson would follow up Feler's goal five minutes later for his second of the season making it a 2-0 Wesleyan lead.
