Rocky Mount, N.C. - On a special day in Rocky Mount, the NCWU volleyball program upset the defending conference champion in five sets. In one of the most competitive matches of the entire season, both teams were essentially even on the stat sheet and scored exactly 59 points each.
Sloan Martin would have a game for the record books with eighteen kills, two blocks, and eighteen assists in the victory.
Hailey Davenport would also have a remarkable 30 digs as the libero.
The Bishops would finish up the tri-match against Brevard and fell in four sets to go 1-1 on the day.
Sloan Martin would once again dominate in this match with thirteen kills and thirteen assists.
Game Notes:
- Aajah Vasquez would play an outstanding front line and would come up with a total of seven blocks in both games combined.
- Along with her 30 digs in the first match, Hailey Davenport also had her best game of the season serving with three aces against Knights.
