Greensboro, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball program fell in three sets to Guilford on Tuesday night on the road. Scoring 20 points in the first set, the Lady Bishops put up some impressive numbers in the defeat. As a team, Wesleyan recorded 26 kills and assists, which was led by Aajah Vasquez who had four kills of her on. The Bishops also put up a whopping 45 digs for the contest, which is sixteen more than their previous contest at Pfeiffer.
Sloan Martin was a big contributor for Wesleyan on Tuesday, coming up with 21 of the team's 26 assists and recording two kills. Another big performance on the stat sheet came from
Fiona Egan as she had six kills for the contest.
The Bishops will fall to 1-2 on the young season and will play in the Maroon Classic this weekend where they will battle Roanoke and Ferrum.
