Rocky Mount, NC - In a game that ended early due to darkness after nearly a hour and a half weather delay, the women's soccer program picks up its first win of the year against Eastern Mennonite.

Makaela Stokes would nearly have a hat trick, with back-to-back goals on corner kicks. Wesleyan would dominate the stat sheet as well, winning the key shots on goal category 10-7.
The third and key goal came from
Caitlyn Butler, which would be her second on the young season.
With the first win under their belt, the Bishops will travel up to Mary Washington on Sunday for a 2 pm kickoff.
