Women's Basketball Extends Win Streak to Three at Greensboro

Greensboro, NC - Continuing its dominant win streak in the USA South, the N.C. Wesleyan's women's basketball team secured their third consecutive victory by defeating Greensboro 71-59 on the road. The game was marked by outstanding performances from Areina Harris and Johnay Goddard.

Leading the charge in scoring, Senior Areina Harris demonstrated her prowess on the court with an impressive tally of seventeen points and two rebounds to continue her incredible hot streak. Fellow Senior Johnay Goddard, showcasing seasoned expertise, contributing significantly with twelve points and six rebounds to the huge conference victory. 

One of the defining keys to the game was the Battling Bishop's dominance on the boards, outrebounding the Pride 51-36. Notably, Kayrisma Harrison's stellar performance resulted in a dominant double-double, amassing fourteen points and eleven rebounds. Wesleyan continued to light up the shooting chart on Sunday, with an impeccable 50% success rate from behind the arc and making 40% of their shots from the floor.
