Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan men's basketball team suffered a setback on Tuesday night to Methodist inside Everett Gymnasium. Justin Buden led the Battling Bishops in scoring with eighteen points and was joined by
Kyron Kelly and
Omari Bolden as the only Bishops in double-figures.

On a night where turnovers were the story of the game, Wesleyan turned the ball over 23 times and allowed Methodist to score 27 times off of those mishaps. The Battling Bishops also gave up a lot of easy buckets in the post and allowed 52 Monarch points in the paint.Â
In a game of runs, Wesleyan led by as much as seven in late in the second half including slim margin with under 2:00 left in the contest. Shooting 42% from the floor and behind the arc as a team, Burden knocked down seven buckets including going a perfect 3-3 from the line to be an unstoppable force at the stretch forward position.
