Meisenheimer, NC - In a challenging road matchup, the NC Wesleyan men's basketball team faced a tough test against the Pfeiffer Falcons, ultimately falling 94-78. The Battling Bishops now hold a 7-6 season record and are 1-1 in conference play.
Marquis Eskew led the scoring effort with an impressive nineteen points and three rebounds, continuing to be the team's go-to scorer.
Omari Bolden and
Justin Burden also continued to be really solid options off the bench for Coach Thompson, as both reached double digits.

Despite the best offensive performances of the 2023-24 campaign, shooting over 50% in both halves and hitting a season-high 19-31 in the second period, the Battling Bishops couldn't overcome Pfeiffer's second-half surge. Pfeiffer's seven threes in the latter half proved decisive, putting the game out of reach for the Battling Bishops.
