Rocky Mount, NC – The N.C. Wesleyan women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Brevard on Saturday in a match that held deep significance. Both programs took time to honor Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke University lacrosse athlete, during the Morgan's Message Dedication game, celebrating her legacy and raising awareness for mental health among athletes.

On the field, the Bishops fought hard but were unable to overcome a strong Brevard offense. Brennan Howell netted two goals for the Tornados, striking in the 29th and 75th minutes, while Austin Huffman added her second goal of the season in the 30th minute to give Brevard a commanding lead.
Freshman goalkeeper Grace Walls faced relentless pressure from the Tornados throughout the game, but she stood tall, making ten fantastic saves to keep the Bishops contest.
