Lacrosse Falls in Road Contest to Southern Virginia

Buena Vista, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan lacrosse program fell by a final score of 20-3 Saturday at Southern Virginia. Scoring the Bishops first goal at the 8:00 minute mark in the second quarter, Alaska Evans scored unassisted to break up the early Knight rally. Later capitalizing on a man up situation later on in the same period, Laiah Espinal delivered the Bishops second goal to inject life into Wesleyan's attack.

The final goal of the game came by the way of Sarah Waters for the Battling Bishops as Lailah Espinal delivered a beautiful assist complete complete the string of three Bishop goals under a 12:00 minute time frame.

The Battling Bishops hit the road once again on Wednesday and travel to Meredith as conference play continues.
