Rocky Mount, NC – The N.C. Wesleyan women's volleyball team competed against Brevard and Southern Virginia in a double header Saturday.
The Bishops won the second set in their first game of the day against Brevard. Unable to claim the others, Wesleyan fell to Tornados 1-3. Sloan Martin continued to dominate the court in all aspects, leading the team with fifteen digs and fourteen kills. Jenna Pilkenton also made a strong debut with two blocks and seven attack attempts.

The Bishops fought hard in the second and final match of the day against Southern Virginia University. Aajah Vasquez led the team with seven kills, while Hannah Byrd made her presence known with fifteen attack attempts. Despite the teams' efforts, the Bishops were unable to take control of the game and fell to the Knights 0-3.
