Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Bishops Continue Building Momentum in Road Contest at Elon

Elon, NC - N.C. Wesleyan continued its nonconference slate with a challenging road matchup at Elon on December 30, using the game as an opportunity to compete against a Division I opponent and gain valuable experience. The Bishops played with pace and purpose throughout the contest, working to establish offensive rhythm and showing consistent effort on both ends of the floor. Wesleyan finished the night shooting 38.5 percent from the field and remained aggressive attacking the basket, generating scoring opportunities through ball movement, cuts, and transition play. Despite facing constant pressure, the Bishops stayed engaged defensively and continued to battle on the glass while leaning on depth to keep energy levels high.

Individually, N.C. Wesleyan received solid performances across the lineup, led by Des'Myah Croom, who paced the team with 10 points while providing a strong presence in the paint. Anaya Hall added eight points and brought steady offensive pressure with her ability to drive and finish through contact. Harmony Martin contributed seven points and played with noticeable hustle, while Alexandria White added six points on efficient shooting. The Bishops also benefited from contributions off the bench, as multiple players logged meaningful minutes and helped maintain tempo throughout the game. Facing a fast-paced and high-level opponent, Wesleyan used the contest to continue developing chemistry, resilience, and confidence as the team prepares for the remainder of its schedule. Your Bishops will be back on the road January 3rd in Raleigh, NC where they will face the William Peace Pacers in a USA South Conference matchup.
