Facing a tough test on the road, the Battling Bishops (4-6) grabbed a win at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles but ultimately dropped the match to the nationally-ranked Eagles (6-7) by a score of 6-1.

Ivanna Torres and Andrea Elaez Miranda teamed up to secure a strong 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. However, the Eagles claimed wins at the top and third doubles spots to take the early 1-0 lead.

Torres went on to shine in singles play as well, earning Wesleyan's lone point with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the No. 3 position. Elaez Miranda battled at No. 1 singles but came up just short in the second set, falling 6-1, 7-5. The remaining singles matches were claimed by Mary Washington in straight sets.
