The NC Wesleyan men's soccer team fell in a tightly contested match against Emory in Atlanta, suffering a narrow 1–0 loss. The decisive moment arrived in the second half when Emory was awarded a penalty kick at 52:46, which Josh Grand converted to break the deadlock.

Despite the result, the Bishops showed promise. They held an even edge in the second half, firing four shots—two of which were on goal—while goalkeeper Jacob Westermark delivered a solid performance between the pipes, stopping four shots over the full 90 minutes.

Wesleyan's fired five shots, with two of those on goal. Wesleyan earned four corner kicks.The Bishops will continue the road trip in the peach state with a visit to Oglethorpe on Sunday.
