N.C. Wesleyan put together a strong and controlled performance in a 66–50 USA South Conference victory over Salem (NC) on January 17 at Varsity Gym in Winston-Salem. The Bishops set the tone early, building a 19–11 lead after the first quarter and maintaining steady control throughout the contest by winning every period except the second. Wesleyan relied on defensive pressure and rebounding to create separation, finishing with 26 points off turnovers, 18 second-chance points, and 38 points in the paint. The Bishops also held Salem to 32.6 percent shooting from the field, using disciplined defense to limit scoring opportunities and protect their lead in the second half.
Anaya Hall led N.C. Wesleyan with a standout effort, scoring 23 points while pulling down 10 rebounds to record a double-double and anchor the Bishops on both ends of the floor. Dorinda Jordan provided a major spark off the bench with 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting and seven rebounds, giving Wesleyan consistent interior scoring and physicality in the paint. Kieara Hughes added six points and five rebounds, while Harmony Martin contributed four points, six rebounds, and three assists, helping control the tempo and create opportunities for teammates. With balanced contributions across the lineup and strong execution defensively, the Bishops secured an important conference road win and continued to build momentum in USA South play.
