Virginia Beach, V.A. - The NC Wesleyan men's tennis team delivered a dominant road performance on April 14, sweeping Virginia Wesleyan 7-0 at the Everett Tennis Center.
The Bishops set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point. Adam Singleton and Albert Sitwell led the way with a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Farhaan Patrawala and Ben Russell followed with another 6-2 win at No. 2. Brody Brice and Indrek Raudkivi completed the sweep with a 6-4 decision at No. 3.
NC Wesleyan carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets. Adam Singleton controlled the No. 1 singles court with a 6-2, 6-1 victory, and Albert Sitwell followed with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2. Farhaan Patrawala added another strong performance at No. 3, winning 6-1, 6-4.
Ben Russell secured a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4, while Martin Cardestig delivered a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5. Indrek Raudkivi closed out the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
With the win, NC Wesleyan showcased its depth and control across the lineup, sweeping every court to earn the 7-0 team victory and continue its strong play down the stretch.
