Raleigh, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan men's tennis team delivered a dominant performance on April 15, sweeping William Peace 7-0 at Lions Park.
The Bishops set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point. David Edjerholm and Alexander Kohlhaas led the way with a 6-0 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Largo Koch and Bernardo Rojas followed with another 6-0 win at No. 2. NC Wesleyan also earned a default victory at No. 3 doubles to complete the sweep.
NC Wesleyan carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches to complete the shutout. Largo Koch controlled the No. 1 singles court with a 6-0, 6-0 victory, and Alexander Kohlhaas followed with a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 2. David Edjerholm added another dominant performance at No. 3, winning 6-0, 6-0.
Nout Den Braber secured a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4, while Jon Molinar delivered a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 5. The Bishops also picked up a default win at No. 6 to close out the match.
With the win, NC Wesleyan showcased its depth and control across the lineup, sweeping every court to secure the 7-0 team victory and continue its strong play late in the season.
