Biography
At North Carolina Wesleyan:
Entering his senior season with the Battling Bishops, Burden has been a consistent contributor in the frontcourt throughout his collegiate career. In 2024–25, he appeared in 26 games with 16 starts, averaging 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest. Highlight performances included a 21-point outing at Methodist and a 10-rebound game versus Apprentice. During the 2023–24 season, Burden started nine games and averaged 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, including a 23-point effort against Pfeiffer and 18 points in a road win at Methodist. As a sophomore in 2022–23, he played in 24 games, averaging 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 47 percent from the floor.
High School:
A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and graduate of Cape Fear High School. A two-time all-conference selection and team leader who helped guide his program to multiple postseason appearances.
Personal:
Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. Favorite athlete is Kevin Durant, and favorite video game is NBA 2K. After graduation, Burden aspires to continue his basketball career overseas.
