Michael Catanzarite

Catanzarite joins NC Wesleyan following a successful playing and analytical career that includes professional, collegiate, and scouting experience. Most recently, he played professionally with Adelaide Olympic FC in Australia’s National Premier Leagues (NPL), where he further developed his tactical understanding of the game and leadership qualities.

Prior to his professional experience, Catanzarite served as a scouting analyst with Detroit City FC in the USL Championship, conducting live and video analysis, preparing detailed scouting reports, and assisting with player evaluation and recruitment. His analytical background has helped shape a strong understanding of tactical systems, player development, and game management.

As a player, Catanzarite enjoyed a standout collegiate career at NCAA Division II Cedarville University, where he served as team captain and earned multiple honors, including Midwest Region Player of the Year, GMAC Offensive Player of the Year, and First Team All-Ohio recognition. Before Cedarville, he competed at the NCAA Division I level at Liberty University, earning ASUN All-Freshman Team honors. He also developed in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with Rochester New York FC.

A native of Syracuse, New York, Catanzarite earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Cedarville University in 2025.
