Emma Stanton enters her first year as an assistant athletic trainer at NCWU. Coming to Rocky Mount from James Madison University, Stanton brings two years of NCAA Division I experience to Rocky Mount as she worked with the Dukes' softball, women's soccer, and men's basketball program as an athletic training student.

Stanton earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2020 and later went on to obtain her Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2024.
