Montgomery, Ala. / LaGrange, Ga. - The Battling Bishop men's soccer team moved to 7-0 in USA South play over the weekend, out-scoring Huntingdon and LaGrange by an 11-2 combined score to secure a pair of road victories. A.J. Wadda netted four goals, including one gamewinner over the two-match span, while Olafur Einarsson notched a pair of scores and an assist.

Wesleyan opened the weekend with a 4-1 victory at Huntingdon on Saturday. Wadda netted the first goal of the match in the 40th minute for a 1-0 Bishop lead at the break, and he went on to net the first two scores of the second half to complete his first career hat trick. Huntingdon managed to avoid the shutout with a goal in the 72nd minute, but Einarsson's tally with 18 seconds remaining provided the 4-1 final.

Sheriff Secka, Tyler Jones, and Jordan Davis each had an assist for the Bishops, who out-shot the Hawks 21-4 on the day.

The Bishops continued to roll with a 7-1 win at LaGrange on Sunday. NCWC posted a trio of scores in the first half, beginning with the first of two Ryan Halliday scores less than 10 minutes in. Kobi Boompong connected on the eventual gamewinner four minutes later on a feed from Wadda, who proceeded to tally his fourth goal of the weekend at the 20:28 mark.

The Panthers got on the board in the 53rd minute, but Wesleyan countered with an Einarssson tally less than two minutes later. NCWC went on to earn the 7-1 win behind insurance goals by Baboucarr Njie (61'), Halliday (70'), and Mo Jallow (89'). Assists in the match were awarded to Boompong, Wadda, Einarsson, Alex Andrade, Benjamin Osei, Halldor Bjarneyjarson, and Cade Lowry, respectively.

Wesleyan keeper Alex Magner earned both wins in goal, making a pair of saves versus the Panthers.
