Coming off a hard fought loss at William Peace on Tuesday, the Bishops looked to bounce back in the first of two games over the weekend Saturday against the Cyclones. Getting off to a hot start in the first half, Wesleyan shot over 55% from three including three triples from Austin Manley. 

The other big storyline of the game that set the tone was the Bishops defense, which continues to be intense. The Bishops held Brevard to 23% from the floor in the first half resulting in a 42-21 lead at the break.

Overall, four starters were in double digits for the game including Marquis Esquew, Khalid Hinds, Isaiah Lewis, and Kyron Kelly while shooting a remarkable 50% from the floor for the game. When combining the remarkable shooting with forcing 13 turnovers for the game, the Bishops are off to a great start to the weekend.
