Raleigh, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball team dropped Wednesday's match to William Peace 3-0 in Raleigh. The Battling Bishops would score 20 points in the first set, but it was not enough to get a victory. The lady Bishops would have 31 kills, four blocks, and 46 digs in the match and went toe-to-toe with WPU.
Grace Bestler led the team with nine kills and
Ludmila Borges would come up with a season high of three blocks.
Game Notes:
- Freshman Aajah Vasquez would have 6.5 points for the Battling Bishops, continuing a string of dominance after being named USA South Rookie of the Week a short time ago.
- The volleyball program will honor four seniors on Saturday as the 4:00 game against Randolph is Senior Day.
