Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball program honored four seniors on Saturday as part of Homecoming festivities.
Sloan Martin,
Desiree Walker,
Mary Alice Butler, and Mcenzie Norris were all honored on the court along with Senior manager
Blaire Harley. Wesleyan would unfortunately only play one match against Greensboro as the scheduled match against Randolph was canceled due to a power outage. The Battling Bishops would fall to the Pride, in three sets, but scored 23 and 22 points respectively in the last two sets.
Game Notes:
- Aajah Vasquez and Senior Sloan Martin combined for 15 kills in Saturday's match, continuing to be staples on the front line.
- Libero Hailey Davenport had an outstanding 20 digs in the contest, leading to big crucial points in the extremely tight third set.
