Winston-Salem, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball team lost in four sets to Carolina University on Tuesday night in Winston-Salem. Freshman
Grace Bestler would have an outstanding night, leading the team with twelve kills, while fellow rookie
Natalie Adkins had a season high four blocks on the front line.
Sloan Martin would also be a force to be reckoned with in the setter position leading the team in assists (21) and digs (13). While the Bishops fought hard with 26 points in the third set to extend the match another set, Wesleyan's front line proved pivotal by acquiring a season high of ten blocks, remarkably the majority coming from freshmen.
