Marquis Eskew led the Battling Bishops in scoring with 23 points and three assists on the afternoon. Marquan Gilbert and
Austin Manley also chipped in with ten points each.

The first half saw the Marlins catch fire from behind the arc, shooting over 57% from three led by Omari Deveaux with 16 at the break. The Battling Bishops inserted their will in the paint with 22 points compared to the Marlins 16., and NCWU also doubled up Virginia Wesleyan in the rebounding margin in the first 20 minutes of play 22-11.
The second half saw the Battling Bishops catch fire out of the break going on a 8-0 scoring run out of the under sixteen media timeout in the second half. While the Marlins would take control of the game,
Kyron Kelly would finish with a double-double scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 boards along with
Deejayy Cox who had the exact same line.
