Wesleyan Runs Past MACU 98-79

Rocky Mount, NC - In a thrilling basketball matchup, the NC Wesleyan team showcased its dominance as they secured a convincing victory over Mid Atlantic Christian with a final score of 98-79. From the opening tip-off, Wesleyan asserted their control, leading the first half by a substantial margin with a score of 52-29.

Freshman sensation Markquan Gilbert emerged as the star of the game for Wesleyan, contributing significantly on both ends of the court. Gilbert's stellar performance saw him leading the team in scoring with an impressive 17 points, while also making his presence felt on the boards with seven rebounds.
