Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan men's soccer program lost its first game of the season 1-0 to Guilford Sunday afternoon. While dominating the shots 23-6 and 12-0 in the first half, Wesleyan could not get a ball to find the net, even after an attempt deflected off the crossbar.
Tiago Feler would lead the Bishops with four shots on goal, and was followed by Ori Bjornsson and
Bastien Dechamps who contributed two.
The Bishop's defense was also stifling in the affair, only allowing two Quaker shots on goal, but unfortunately the one goal would make the difference.
Men's soccer falls to 1-1-2 on the season, and will face Randolph at home Wednesday.
