Roanoke, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball program dropped the final two matches of the Maroon Classic on Saturday. In the 3-2 loss to Hollins, the Lady Bishops went to their first fifth set of the season. As a team, Wesleyan had an incredible 63 kills and 12 aces to keep the game tight down to the final point. Sloan Martin dominated the stat sheet.
Martin would have twelev kills for Wesleyan and a percentage of nearly .400.
Emily Foraker would also contribute nine kills to the contest as well.
In game two against Randolph, the Bishops would fall 3-0, but forced a tiebreaker in the second set.

Sloan Martin would combine for thirteen of the nineteen Wesleyan kills.
Volleyball will fall to 1-6 on the young season, but will have its home opener against USA South rival William Peace on Wednesday night at Everett Gym.
