Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball program dropped its home opener to the Pacers of William Peace by a score of 3-0. Wesleyan was able to get out to an early lead in the second set and got the Pacers on their heels. Unfortunately, Peace was able to rally and take the set 25-10.
The usual suspects of
Sloan Martin and
Grace Bestler were dominant for Wesleyan combining for eleven points and nine kills while playing in all three sets on Wednesday night.
Aajah Vasquez was also able to pitch in twelve attacks for the Bishops in the defeat to WPU.
Volleyball will hit the road this weekend and take on Greensboro in a conference showdown on Saturdat at 1:00.
