Greensboro, NC – The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball program fell 3-0 to conference foe Greensboro Saturday afternoon. The Battling Bishops kept the contest close in the first set by putting up 19 points on the Pride. As a team, Wesleyan would go on to have 33 digs and 24 kills on the day as well.

Game Notes:

•       For the first time this season, the Battling Bishops had more blocks than an opponent, winning the stat category 4-3.
•         Sloan Martin continues her fantastic 2023 season with a team leading seven kills and seven aces against the Pride. She also would put up an incredible 32 attacks in the three sets.
•         Emily Foraker would also come up big for Wesleyan with thirteen attacks of her own, while getting four kills in the conference battle.

• A big week of USA South action is up next for volleyball as the program starts the week by traveling to Raleigh for a showdown with Meredith Wednesday night. On Saturday, the Bishops are back at Everett Gym as they take on Salem.
