Raleigh, NC - A hard fought battle for the Bishops ended in a 3-0 defeat by the Angels of Meredith on Wednesday. Wesleyan would play its best set so far this year in the third scoring 23 points against a very good Meredith team. For the first time this season, Wesleyan would have more digs than an opponent with 42 compared to the Angels 41.

Game Notes:

• Sloan Martin led Wesleyan in kills with seven and also would come up with an incredible 10 assists to have the volleyball version of a double-double.
• Natalie Adkins and Hailey Davenport would step up in big roles on Wednesday. Adkins would play a solid front line with four blocks, while Davenport came up with 12 digs.
