Charlotte, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan women's soccer team took down Johnson&Wales on the road 2-1 in the Queen City.
Samantha Dell and
Caitlyn Butler would both score their first goals of the year for Wesleyan to get the first road win of the year.
The Bishops would dominate the Wildcats on the stat sheet as well by taking almost every team category including shots by a margin of 9-7. Butler and Dell not only scored the two goals, but contributed to seven of the nine Wesleyan shots in the game.
Wesleyan would play two goalies against the Wildcats with
Anna Yeakey and Olivia Dyjeswki coming up with four big saves to improve the women's soccer program to 2-3 on the young season.
The Bishops will hit the road this weekend on Saturday to Greensboro to take on Guilford in a non-conference affair that is slated to start at 2:00.
