Arlington, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan men's soccer team lost its third straight road game to Marymount on Wednesday night. The Battling Bishops only trailed 2-1 at the break, but two second half goals was too much to overcome. Wesleyan's lone goal would come by the way of
Tiago Feler in the 23rd minute for his third goal of the 2023 season.
Game Notes:
- Wesleyan's tour of Virginia contiuned on Wednesday, as the Marymount contest was men's soccer third of four straight road games in the state.
- Evann Vicenti was the only Battling Bishop with more than one shot attempt. His two shots in 33 minutes was a team high.
- Rafael Farina would have seven saves, which kept the game competitive into halftime and gave the Bishops momentum headed into the break.
