Women's Basketball Takes Season Series from Pacers

Raleigh, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan women's basketball team went into Raleigh and nearly topped triple digits to sweep the season series against William Peace. The Battling Bishops were led by Kayrisma Harrison who continued her dominance against the Pacers scoring nineteen points and grabbing down thirteen rebounds.

Post play would be the story of the afternoon with Dorinda Jordan proving she isn't a rookie anymore, scoring seventeen and getting fifteen huge Bishop rebounds. In total, Wesleyan nearly doubled William Peace on the boards and came with 56 rebounds.

The guard play was sharp on Saturday afternoon as the duo of Nadia Simmons and Arenia Harris were both in double figures for Wesleyan. Running the offense, Deonna Adams would go on to have a double-double the unconventional way of eleven rebounds and ten assists, completely ripping through the backcourt of the Pacers.
