Winston-Salem, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan women's soccer team secured its third USA South win with a 3-1 triumph over Salem on Saturday. Makena Meyer led the way with two goals, including the opener at the 17-minute mark, assisted by Mia Scherber.

Eden Whiteside followed up on Meyer's with her seventh goal of the year, capitalizing on a pass from McKayla Farrow to double the Bishops' lead before halftime. Shortly after the break, Meyer struck again in the 50th minute to make it 3-0. Although Salem scored a late goal, it wasn't enough to overcome Wesleyan's dominant performance from start to finish.
The Bishops had five of its eight shots on target, and freshman goalkeeper Grace Walls was stellar in net, recording seven saves to preserve the win.
