Rocky Mount, NC - In a hard-fought USA South matchup, the N.C. Wesleyan volleyball team hit the road to take on Meredith on Tuesday night, ultimately falling 3-1 to the Avenging Angels. The Bishops came out strong, claiming a thrilling first set victory with a 25-22 score, showcasing one of the best sets of the year.

Aajah Vasquez was phenomenal for the Bishops, leading the team with nine kills while contributing two service aces and two blocks. Her presence at the net was a key factor in taking a set against the reigning conference champions.
On the defensive side, libero Jadyn Smith was a standout with an impressive sixteen digs, anchoring the Bishops' backcourt. Setter Sloan Martin also delivered a strong performance, leading the team with sixteen assists, orchestrating the offense and keeping the match.
