Rocky Mount, NC - In a highly anticipated matchup, the N.C. Wesleyan men's soccer team faced off against the top-ranked Mary Washington on Tuesday. The game also served as a homecoming for former Battling Bishop goalkeeper Freddy Rogers and former head coach Jason Kilby, who led Wesleyan before his impressive 12-year tenure at Mary Washington.

Unfortunately for the Battling Bishops, the Eagles showcased their dominance early, scoring back-to-back goals in the 16th and 17th minutes to seize a quick 2-0 lead. Carter Berg added to the Eagles' advantage with his eighth goal of the season in the 30th minute, putting the score at 3-0 before halftime.
Despite efforts to regain momentum in the second half, Wesleyan struggled to find rhythm. Mary Washington sealed their victory with a fourth goal, ultimately ending the match 4-0.
