Women's Soccer Concludes Regular Season with Narrow 1-0 Loss to Methodist

Fayetteville, NC - In a tightly contested match, the N.C. Wesleyan women's soccer team fell to Methodist 1-0 in their final game of the regular season. The only goal of the contest came early, as Kelsey Burge found the back of the net just five minutes into the game, assisted by Corrine Shovlain for the Monarchs.

Methodist managed to get ten shots, with four on target, while Wesleyan recorded four shots in total. Freshman goalie Grace Walls was outstanding again for the Bishops, making three impressive saves to keep Wesleyan in contention throughout the match.
