Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan Athletic Department held its 26th Celebration of Excellence Friday night inside the Garner Lobby at the Dunn Center. The evening started off with opening remarks from President Evan Duff and was followed by honoring the four athletes of the year from the 2023-24 calendar year.

Vice President of Athelics Aaron Denton recognized Tyson Bass, John Falke, Kamiyah Wooten, and Nadia Simmons for exemplifying the Four C Philosophy of the athletic department by earning athlete of the year accolades. 

Following dinner, all current members of the NCWU Athletics Hall of Fame were asked to stand and be recognized along with remembering those of the hall that passed away in the previous year.

The program would go on to induct six into the 2024 Hall of Fame including Chris Bratcher (Men's Basketball), Brandon Craig (Football), Laura Ferrell (Coach), Gene Sanguinetti (Baseball), Sean Fleming (Baseball), and Jon Rardin (Baseball).
