Rocky Mount, NC - North Carolina Wesleyan Athletics is excited to announce its first-ever golf outing, set to take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Belmont Lake Golf Club in Rocky Mount.

This inaugural event marks a new tradition in support of NCWU's 20 athletic programs and over 500 student-athletes who represent the Battling Bishops each season. Open to alumni, fans, families, and friends of Bishop Athletics, the outing promises a day of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition—all for a great cause.

Participants will enjoy a 4-person scramble format, with meals, beverages, prizes, contests, and giveaways included. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or swinging a club for the first time, all are welcome to join this special occasion.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for our supporters to come together in a relaxed and enjoyable setting while directly contributing to the success of our student-athletes," said Aaron Denton, Athletic Director. "We're building something special at NCWU, and this event will help fuel that momentum."
