The Bishops fell in its first exhibition contest against ECU on the road 97-70 on Monday night. Guard Marquis Eskew was able to drive the rim with ease, dropping sixteen points and added four assists.

Mid-Range Attack

Wesleyan was able to capitalize a lot of mid range jumpers in Greenville Monday night as forward James Jones had fifteen points from inside the arc. Transfer Kaleb Brooks also gave the Bishops valuable minutes, with nine points and five rebounds inside.

The Opponent

Eastern Mennonite enters the 2023-24 season coming off a 5-20 record last season. The Royals will return their leading scorer in Aviwe Mahlong who averaged nearly twelve points per contest in 2023-24.
